Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Fahm, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
Fahm is an educational application for learning the vocabulary of the Quran and the phrases recited in Salah (Islamic prayer). The app provides vocabulary lessons, classical tafsir commentary from Ibn Kathir, Al-Jalalayn, Al-Tabari, and Al-Wahidi, quizzes, and a Salah reference guide. Fahm is a vocabulary learning tool, not a source for religious rulings or independent Quranic interpretation — users should consult qualified scholars for religious guidance.
Educational Purpose
All content in Fahm is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The app draws on classical tafsir sources (Ibn Kathir, Al-Jalalayn, Al-Tabari) and authenticated hadith collections. Fahm does not issue religious rulings (fatwa) and is not a substitute for guidance from qualified Islamic scholars.
Pro Subscription
Fahm offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features including extra reciters and scholarly overviews.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe for web sign-ups
- Payment is charged to your store account upon purchase confirmation
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store account settings
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
Account Deletion
You may delete your Fahm account at any time. Deleting your account permanently erases all associated data, including learning progress, SRS history, and bookmarked verses. This action cannot be undone.
Important: deleting your Fahm account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately before deleting your account to avoid future charges:
To delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or visit our account deletion page.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Fahm only for its intended educational purpose. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with the app's operation or the services it depends on
Intellectual Property
The Fahm app, its design, and original content are the property of the developer. Quranic text, translations, and hadith content are sourced from third-party APIs and remain the property of their respective rights holders. Classical Islamic texts are in the public domain.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Fahm is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any content is complete or accurate. Quranic and hadith content is fetched from third-party APIs; we are not responsible for errors originating from those sources.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Fahm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
